NGN Welcomes Mitchell Clouatre to NGN Network Operations

Mitchell Clouatre has joined NGN’s Network Operations department as a Network Engineer II. In this role, Mitchell will work with the NOC team to plan, design, implement, maintain and support NGN’s routing and switching environment by identifying network requirements, provisioning new services, installing upgrades and monitoring network performance essential to operating a quality fiber-optic network system.

Mitchell brings with him extensive experience in IT, network administration and network engineering. Before becoming a part of the NGN team, Mitchell worked as Network System Administrator and Engineer for Piedmont College. In this role, he designed and installed the college’s entire switching network, new IP phone system and wireless system, in addition to redesigning their entire network for segmentation purposes.

Prior to that, he filled the role of Senior Network and Systems Technician for Ansley Communications for 9 years. Mitchell holds a wide range of industry certifications including, but not limited to: Juniper Networks Certified Associate Junos, Juniper Certified Specialist Enterprise Routing & Switching, Juniper WLAN / Switching / Routing Accreditations and Mitel 3300ICP & 200ICP.
