Next Generation Youth Development Inc.’s Ellen Ward

Ellen Ward, Clubhouse Lead at Next Generation Youth Development Inc, has recently had the privilege of being invited into an inaugural cohort of educators through littleBits’ Rockstar Educator program. littleBits is a company who pioneered “snap-able” circuitry pieces that young makers can manipulate easily to create circuits. Ellen has written hands-on circuitry curriculum for youth at Next Generation featuring the littleBits circuitry pieces, and submitted the lessons to littleBits for review.

littleBits was impressed with the work, and has asked Ellen to submit another 3 lessons for their online library through the Rockstar Educator program. In turn, littleBits will grant Next Generation a new set of littleBits pieces as well as a featured spot on the littleBits’ website. Next Generation is proud for the opportunity to share curriculum with the innovative littleBits company, and honored to receive recognition from them for this achievement.
