057Wilbanks Middle School 8th graders in Mr. Scott Mote and Mrs. Chelie Mize’s Georgia History classes recently had the opportunity to video conference with Irene Munn, General Counsel and Director of Policy for Georgia Lt. Governor Casey Cagle. The video conferencing capabilities were made possible by the Education Exchange powered by NGN.

Joined by 8th graders from Stone Mountain and Barrow County, the students got to learn about the Office of the Lt. Governor and Georgia State government first hand to complement their history class lessons.

Ms. Munn showed the students around the Senate Floor and then lead the group in a game of “Are You Smarter Than An 8th Grader?”, where she asked students from all three schools questions about the government and history of Georgia.
