CLARKESVILLE, GA, January 26, 2015 – Georgia Communications Cooperative (GCC) has announced that it will now be doing business as NGN Connect™, effective immediately.

This change reflects the Internet provider’s strong partnership with NGN, the fiber optic network upon which its service is based.

“The technical infrastructure supporting our services is owned and managed by our partners at NGN,” said President and CEO Michael Foor, “and after listening to feedback from our customers and community members over the last two years, we want to streamline our efforts and clearly represent this unique relationship.”

NGN Connect™ will remain a distinct cooperative, governed by its Board of Directors and owned by its members.  The Company continues to provide commercial and small business product sales and support on the NGN network.

NGN Connect™ associates and customers are optimistic about the change as it reflects the continued growth and development of the organization.

“We look forward to building on this identity in 2015 as we roll out new Internet services, expand strategically, and work with additional partners to reach more homes and businesses in Georgia,” Foor said.

Our website has been updated and migrated to ngnconnect.coop to reflect this development.  Staff email addresses have also been updated and can be found on Our Team page.

We look forward to building on this identity in 2015, as we roll out new services, expand strategically, and work with additional partners to reach more homes and businesses in Georgia.
