Students at Next Generation Enjoy a Virtual Fieldtrip to Center for the Puppetry Arts

NGN’s Education Exchange recently forged a relationship between strategic partners Center for Puppetry Arts (The Center) and Next Generation, Dawson County’s positive youth development center. The two learning facilities worked together to enhance Next Generation’s curriculum to better engage students.

Next Generation educators were able to include an interactive distance learning component with The Center during their Japan Week curriculum. Students enjoyed a virtual field trip to The Center and were entertained with Japanese puppet culture and were even instructed on how to make their own Japanese inspired puppet creations.
